A welcoming and well-resourced primary school in Stoke is currently looking for a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team immediately or from September 2025. This is a brilliant opportunity to support pupils with additional needs, while developing the skills and experience to kickstart a rewarding career in education or SEN support.
Your Role Will Include:
* Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language challenges
* Assisting with classroom activities, ensuring all children feel included and supported
* Helping pupils build confidence and key skills in literacy, numeracy, and communication
* Creating a calm, positive learning environment that encourages growth and engagement
* Collaborating with teachers and SENCOs to implement tailored learning strategies

What We’re Looking For:
* A 2:1 degree (or above) in Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies, or a related subject
* A genuine passion for supporting young children with additional learning needs
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles
* Previous experience in a school or SEN setting is helpful, but not essential
