They are part of a global group with multiple sites in the UK and are looking for an Engineering Team Leader to lead their shift engineers. Role & Responsibilities: Carry out planned preventative, predictive and breakdown maintenance of all high-speed production & packaging machinery Electrical & mechanical fault finding, problem solving and repairs PLC - electrical fault finding PPM planning, workload scheduling, CMMS system management, attend meetings, contractor management, toolbox audits, set KPi's, monitor shift performance Promote a health & safety conscious environment Continuous improvement projects Dealing with motors, servo drives, contactors, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, inverters Management of stores, ordering of spares & parts when needed Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Must be a strong man-manager, leader & coach Able to make decisions effectively and prioritise tasks NVQ Level 3 engineering or maintenance minimum Effective communicator, approachable and dependable character Ideally have previously been team leader / supervisor Must have completed a time-served-apprenticeship, with 5 years experience outside of it Strong electrical & mechanical problem solving skills Ideally have worked in food manufacturing industry Knowledge of PLC's, automation & control systems, HMi's beneficial Knowledge of food safety / hygiene beneficial Continuous improvement mentality 'To apply please email your CV / resume to [ ]'. - Chris Gumm - 01908 010 438 If you are interested in this position please click 'apply'.
