The role
We are currently looking to recruit Catering Assistants to assist in the smooth running of the catering operation, ensuring a high standard of hygiene in all relevant areas in accordance with relevant regulations and legislation and to follow best practices, SOP's and company Food Safety policy at all times.
You will be responsible for a high-quality food and beverage service to patients, staff and visitors in all areas of TLC at all times and carry out all duties in a friendly, efficient and helpful manner to the maximum benefit of customers and colleagues, fully considering the importance of customer service.
Key Duties
1. Ensure the safe and correct service and storage of food/beverages at all times
2. Ensure completion of all daily tasks for work colleagues and yourself
3. Operate and maintain all department equipment and reporting of malfunctioning to the relevant contractor or department
4. Ensure effective communication between staff by maintaining a secure and friendly working environment
5. Responsible for hygiene, safety and correct use of equipment and utensils while in work
