Due to significant growth and recent large property acquisition, we’re excited to announce newly created roles within our Direct Labour Operation (DLO).
We’re looking for a new Electrician to join our busy Reactive Repairs team on a permanent basis.
If you're a qualified Electrician who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working independently, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Responding to a high volume of emergency and reactive electrical repairs in our customers’ homes.
2. Working mostly alone, with occasional team-ups for larger or more complex jobs.
3. Diagnosing and resolving faults quickly and effectively, aiming for a first-time fix.
4. Maintaining accurate records and completing all necessary documentation.
5. Representing Paradigm professionally and courteously at all times.
6. Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with current regulations.
7. Keeping your van stocked and tools in good order.
8. Optionally participating in out-of-hours work (voluntary, not required).
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
9. City & Guilds (essential) or equivalent qualification.
10. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
11. Experience in housing repairs and maintenance
12. Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
13. A full, clean UK driving licence
14. Excellent communication and customer service skills
15. Ability to work independently and under pressure
16. Basic understanding of Health & Safety legislation

Area of Operations:
Paradigm Housing Group manages a diverse portfolio of 17, properties located across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire, Greater London, and surrounding areas. In this role, you will be required to travel throughout our property network to carry out Electrical repairs and ensure the continued safety and integrity of our homes.
