Regional Director – Community Care
Location: Galway / Limerick (Hybrid)
Salary: €90,000 + €10,000 performance bonus

About the Role
An ambitious and forward-thinking care provider is seeking an experienced Regional Director to oversee its expanding community care services across Galway and Limerick. This is a key leadership role within a growing organisation that puts children and young people at the heart of every decision. With a strong focus on therapeutic, person-centred care, you’ll play a vital role in shaping services, supporting managers, and ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a regional portfolio of community care services (initially 5 homes, expanding to 8 within 6–8 months)
* Line manage a team of 3 Persons in Charge (PICs), with oversight of care quality, compliance, and staff development
* Build strong relationships with internal teams, external stakeholders, and referral bodies
* Actively contribute to service development, growth, and cultural alignment
* Work in a hybrid model – home-based with regular travel to services and local agencies
What We’re Looking For
* Proven regional leadership experience within social care or related sectors
* Deep understanding of children’s or adult's services, therapeutic approaches, and care compliance
* Passion for delivering ethical, person-centred care
* Proactive, hands-on leadership style with the ability to work autonomously
* Must be based in or near Galway or Limerick, or open to relocating (relocation support available)
