Looking for greater flexibility to work from home?
Or perhaps you’re looking for your first Manager grade role where you can learn from a highly talented CRO?
That’s what’s on offer with this established, niche insurer.
This is a fully remote role. You can work from home every day.
Sitting within 2nd line, you’ll partner 1st line operations across the full breadth of the business, including Claims, Underwriting, and Distribution to support effective risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring activities.
You’ll provide oversight and challenge on 1st line risk management processes, controls, and decision-making across operational and conduct risk. You’ll support the enhancement and execution of the company’s risk management framework, lead RCSAs, develop risk assessments, and conduct risk appetite monitoring with 1st line stakeholders.
You’ll assist in the preparation and delivery of risk and compliance reporting to senior management, Board committees, and regulatory bodies as required.
There will be scope to make the role your own, and you’ll be encouraged to continually challenge the status quo, helping to develop the risk culture across the business.
You should be an experienced Risk professional from the Financial Services sector, ideally with broad Risk experience across multiple disciplines including Operational and Conduct Risk. Previous Insurance experience is advantageous but not essential.
You’ll have experience developing risk assessments, executing RCSAs, and possess an analytical mindset, curiosity, and a willingness to learn. Excellent communication skills are essential.
