We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Team Manager to lead our Safeguarding and DoLS Hub!

We are recruiting a knowledgeable and compassionate Service Team Manager to lead our Safeguarding & DoLS Hub at the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead. This important role is central to delivering our Social Care Futures vision and ensuring that safeguarding responses are timely, proportionate, and person-centred.

This is a full-time, permanent role with hybrid working, and a salary of £53,296 - £58,286 per annum.

Role details

About the role

As Service Team Manager for the Safeguarding & DoLS Hub, you will lead a specialist team responsible for delivering statutory safeguarding duties and managing Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.

* Provide visible, supportive leadership to staff, promoting resilience and reflective practice.
* Ensure robust oversight of safeguarding and DoLS processes, in line with the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act.
* Champion excellent practice around mental capacity across the service.
* Work collaboratively with internal and external partners to uphold individuals’ rights and wellbeing.
* Contribute to RBWM’s strategic priorities: building inclusive, healthy communities, promoting prevention and choice, and delivering compassionate, high-quality services.
