Are you looking for a Bookkeeper / Accountant role, offering an excellent salary? We are actively seeking a Bookkeeper / Accountant for a well established business in Stockport. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful business on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities
* Overall responsibility for all elements of the internal finance function
* Implement appropriate month-end close process and cut-off
* Month-end bank and credit card reconciliation
* Support external Accountants with monthly reporting requirements
* Credit Control
* Sales Ledger
* Purchase Ledger
* Preparation of quarterly VAT Returns
* Payroll administration
* Maintain accurate financial records and identify financial process improvements
Qualifications
* Management accounts experience
* Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger & Credit Control experience
* Experience of VAT returns
* Good Excel skills
* Excellent communication skills
