Are you ready to embark on a new adventure? We are on the lookout for a passionate and energetic team player to join Adventures at Kingsmill Reservoir. Adventures at Kingsmill Reservoir is a brand-new public facing Adventure Park aimed at engaging the thrill seekers in Nottinghamshire and beyond, The Adventure Park has high ropes trekking courses, nets course, jump bag, zipwires, water activities and plans to grow further!
This role is offered on an annualised contract basis, averaging 29.6 hours per week. Please note that actual weekly hours may vary to meet operational demands, with compensation and benefits pro-rated accordingly.
The Role Includes
* Lead the Charge: Assist in managing the daily operations of the park, ensuring every adventurer has an unforgettable experience.
* Team Captain: Supervise, train, and motivate our team of adventure guides and staff.
* Safety Champion: Ensure all safety protocols are followed, such as PPE checks and our equipment is in top-notch condition.
* Customer Hero: Handle guest inquiries and feedback with a smile, turning any challenge into a positive experience.
Requirements
* Experience of working in the adventurous and/or recreational activity sector
* Holding current and valid awards in outdoor and adventurous activities, ideally high ropes and water-based awards
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Must like working outdoors and be confident working at height
* Ability to complete understand or complete basic paperwork or digital forms
* Willingness to work weekends and holidays – because we’re always ready for the next adventure!
Desirable
* First Aid certification is a plus
