What will you be doing?
As a Consultant in LCP’s Health Analytics team you will be involved in a diverse range of projects, covering both client and non-client work. Your key responsibilities will be to:
1. Demonstrate a very high level of expertise in real world evidence
2. Lead aspects of the design and delivery of RWE studies, with your contribution aligned to your area of specialist skill (epidemiology, biostatistics or data science/programming), including:Study designEvidence strategyData source assessmentProtocol developmentStatistical analysis plan developmentData management (SQL, PySpark)Statistical programming (R, Python)Project managementQuality controlReport and manuscript writing
3. Oversee and review the work of other members of the team and support their development, including:Contribution to team learning and developmentContribution to the development of internal resources, tools and processes
4. Contribute to developing advanced methods capabilities in this space
5. Demonstrate and develop your expertise by contributing to thought leadership activities
What skills, qualities and experience must you have?
6. Demonstrable experience in a relevant role at a CRO or consultancy, with a health-related Masters degree or PhD, ideally in epidemiology, biostatistics, health data science or a related speciality
7. An excellent grounding in relevant methods with demonstrable experience in conceptualising and delivering previous studies and projects
8. Excellent communication skills alongside good presentation skills and the ability to explain complex issues to others
9. Excellent report writing skills
10. Excellent Microsoft Office skills and be highly competent in the use of Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
11. If your specialist area is Data Science/Programming, you should be expert in R or Python
12. Experience in project management, leading multidisciplinary teams and the execution of high-quality scientific work
13. Initiative in every aspect of your work and creative in developing original solutions to problems
14. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task across several different projects alongside mentoring and coordinating less experienced colleagues work
