Marston Green Infant Academy is a vibrant and inclusive educational environment committed to supporting both pupils and staff. We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to join our team and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our school office. Key Responsibilities • Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring smooth and efficient administrative functions • Provide essential support to the School Business Manager in operational tasks • Maintain student records, admissions, attendance using the schools MIS system - SIMS • Supervise and provide support to administrative and site staff • Maintain and update school policies and procedures • Data Protection Officer, ensuring compliance with GDPR • Support the Trustees of the Academy as Governance Professional Skills and Qualifications • Experience in an administrative or office management role, preferably in an educational setting • Strong leadership and organisational skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities • Ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet deadlines • A friendly, approachable demeanour and strong customer service skills • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy Desirable • Experience with school management software (e.g. SIMS, Arbor) • A background in education or a related field Hours of work: 35 hours per week Monday – Friday 8.30am-4.00pm Salary: Band D £31,586-£36,124 Actual Salary: £26,245-£30,016 (TTO 40 weeks) per annum Please note interviews will be held on Thursday 17 July 2025 Please send completed application forms to: Debbie Davies Business Manager Email: debbie.davies@marstongreen-inf.solihull.sch.uk Tel No: 0121 779 5667 Attached documents Office Manager Job Description 2024.pdf Person Specification MGIA Application Form May 23.doc
