We are working with a leading property services and building maintenance contractor seeking an experienced and qualified Quantity Surveyor to manage the financial and technical aspects of projects from tender through to final account and cash collection. The role focuses on cost control, margin improvement, and effective contract administration to maximise project value. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee projects from inception to completion * Tender measurement, pricing, and evaluation * Cost management, CVR reporting, and forecasting * Margin improvement and target setting * Procurement and management of subcontractor accounts * Submitting and managing applications for payment * Contract development and supplier engagement * Ensure compliance with health & safety standards Requirements: * Professional qualification (HNC, HND, Degree, or equivalent) * Background in construction, retrofit, or fabric upgrade contracts (preferred) * Familiarity with schedules of rates, bills of quantities, and design & build contracts * Strong commercial acumen and subcontractor procurement experience * Proficient in Excel and general IT tools * Able to manage time effectively and meet tight deadlines * Team-oriented with the ability to work independently and support junior staff
