CLASS 1 HGV DRIVER – NEW PASSES WELCOME Carrington, Manchester Are you a newly qualified Class 1 (CE) driver looking for your first opportunity? We are currently recruiting reliable and professional Night drivers for ongoing work based in Carrington, Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience with a well-established operation running modern equipment and offering consistent work. What We Offer: £15 per hour Monday to Friday work Ongoing, long-term assignments 4 on 4 off shift pattern available Modern fridge box trailer operation Supportive transport team and full site induction Ideal opportunity for newly qualified Class 1 drivers Additional Training provided if required Driver Requirements: Valid Class 1 (CE) Licence Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card Digital Tachograph Card No previous Class 1 experience required Maximum of 6 penalty points on licence No DD, DR, IN, CD or TT endorsements Good understanding of driver hours and Working Time Directive regulations Professional attitude with a strong commitment to safety and customer service Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Successful completion of a driving assessment and site induction prior to starting The Role: Delivery and collection work using modern refrigerated box trailers Vehicle checks and completion of relevant paperwork Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently Maintaining high standards of professionalism at customer sites Assessment & Induction:All drivers will be required to attend and successfully complete a site induction and driving assessment before commencing work. This ensures drivers are familiar with company procedures, site rules, and vehicle operations.
