GSL Education are currently recruiting for a Midday Supervisor (MDSA) to join a primary school in Eastbourne. This is a fantastic part-time opportunity for someone who is reliable, friendly, and committed to pupil wellbeing—playing a key role during lunchtime to ensure children are cared for and supported.
About the School: The school promotes a calm, respectful atmosphere and encourages positive behaviour and inclusion. Staff work as a team to create a consistent, caring environment that supports every pupil’s development.
Responsibilities:
* Supervise children during lunch breaks in the dining hall and playground.
* Promote safe play and positive social interactions.
* Manage minor first aid incidents and report concern to appropriate staff.
* Help maintain cleanliness and order in lunch areas.
* Encourage and model good manners, behaviour, and respect among pupils.
Requirements:
* Experience working with children (in school, care, or similar settings) is desirable.
* A calm, caring, and observant approach.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage behaviour calmly and effectively.
* An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
