As the Analytics Engineer, you’ll take full ownership of the company’s data function, shaping data strategy and architecture from the ground up. You'll design and maintain data models and pipelines, build self-serve dashboards, and serve as a trusted data partner to key stakeholders. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you’ll work closely with teams across Finance, Product, Engineering, Growth, Treasury, and Operations to deliver clear and reliable data insights across the business.
Responsibilities
* Design, maintain, and improve robust data models and data infrastructure.
* Enforce data quality, reliability, and accessibility using best practices.
* Collaborate with leadership to define and document key business and financial KPIs.
* Create high-impact dashboards and deliver insightful reporting tailored to different audiences.
* Promote data best practices and foster alignment on data usage and reporting across the organization.
* Act as a cross-functional bridge supporting strategic decisions with clear, actionable insights.
Key Skills
* 6+ years’ experience designing and maintaining central data models used across multiple teams.
* Expert SQL skills and experience building scalable data solutions.
* Strong BI and dashboarding expertise.
* Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights for diverse audiences.
* Highly autonomous, with a strong sense of ownership and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
* Fluent English (written and spoken) with effective communication skills.
* Collaborative mindset with an ability to influence without formal authority.
* Bonus: Experience scaling data at early stage startups.
* Bonus: Proficiency in Python, Java, Go, or similar languages.
* Bonus: Familiarity with modelling complex business KPIs (revenue, retention, LTV, etc.).
