Mental Health Children’s and Young Person Case Manager role at IPRS Health. Based in Ipswich but with roles through the UK. IPRS Health is a leading provider of physiotherapy, mental health and wellbeing services to the Occupational Health, Insurance and Legal sectors. The organization uses digital innovations to provide first-class clinical services to patients and combines traditional treatments with new methods to improve patient experience and outcomes while helping keep costs down for clients. The successful applicant will be based in the UK and working fully remotely.
Your success will contribute to the continued growth of the mental health team and you will provide clinical case management to IPRS Therapists and Network Practitioners working with children & young people (CYP). You will respond to clinical queries from IPRS Therapists and Network Practitioners, and conduct CYP case reviews. You will act as a main point of contact and provide leadership to Network Practitioners within your assigned Region and ensure that Network Practitioners follow company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
* Carry out case management supervision supporting IPRS Therapists and Network Practitioners to deliver treatment in line with NICE Guidelines and company policy and Network KPIs.
* Liaise with IPRS Health clinicians and network clinics to gather information on a patient’s progress to enable case management decisions.
* Make appropriate recommendations around CYP case management in terms of treatment and onwards referral as required on a case-by-case basis.
* Respond to clinical queries from IPRS Therapists, Network Practitioners and patients, and conduct CYP case reviews.
* Ensure that any recommendations for further treatment, onward referrals or clinical investigations are reasonable using clinical reasoning, experience and current evidence.
* Ensure that IPRS Therapists and Network Practitioners follow company policies and procedures and provide guidance on policy questions.
* Review CYP e-forms, reports submitted by Network Practitioners and carry out full file reviews of patients to ensure safe and effective care is delivered in line with policy and guidelines.
* Liaise with patients, family members, Network Practitioners and other professionals as required.
* Manage and escalate CYP cases where clinical risk or safeguarding concerns have been identified.
* Provide mental health escalation cover, supporting with general queries, clinical report checks and risk and safeguarding queries within SLA.
* Take part in clinical audits for Network Practitioners and provide feedback into practitioner case management and service quality improvements.
* Ensure compliance with statutory and legal regulations (e.g. access to medical records, Data Protection Act).
* Participate in service improvements and improve client satisfaction by ensuring the patient journey reflects the IPRS triage and case management service.
* Support the Mental Health Network Clinical Operations Manager with implementation of new fully case-managed client contracts and training of new Clinical Case Managers.
* Provide out-of-hours clinical support on a rota during service opening hours (8am-7pm Monday-Friday, plus 9am-1pm Saturday).
* Carry out initial CYP assessments with a good quality assessment and recommended treatment in line with patient policy.
Qualifications and Experience
To be seriously considered for this role, please have the following:
* Qualifications: Have a professional qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT); Hold full BABCP accreditation with the first audit completed.
* Experience: Minimum 3 years CBT experience working with children & young people through both virtual and face-to-face treatment and assessment; Experience of clinical case management.
* Knowledge: Computer literate with good Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
* Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers verbally and in writing; time management and organisational skills; understanding of patient needs; logical decision making and proactive management; attention to detail.

* Salary £41,000 - £48,000 per annum
* Hours 40 hours per week full time (part time may be considered)
* Working pattern Monday to Saturday
