This newly created role of 'Director of Paraplanning' will take the lead in ensuring that our Paraplanning teams provide a high quality, efficient service that continues to meet the needs of our clients as our business grows.
The Opportunity…
Reporting directly into the Group Operations Director, this newly created role, will take responsibility for all aspects of Paraplanning across Succession Wealth, giving you the opportunity to make a significant impact in driving excellent outcomes for our clients.

Key focus area's will include:
1. Having Leadership, Management & Accountability responsibilities for the Paraplanning function.
2. Championing Succession’s Vision & Values across Paraplanning and the wider organisation.
3. Growing and developing your team in line with business needs, working with Managers and Learning & Development to identify and address development needs.
4. Operational management of the Paraplanning function and continuous review and improvement of processes to ensure client needs and expectations are met.
5. Line managing, motivating and developing Paraplanning Managers.
6. Working in collaboration with key stakeholders and leaders across the business to ensure commercial objectives and set quality standards are met.

To be successful in this role you will need to have experience and confidence in operating at senior management level and adept at using your strong leadership and influencing skills to drive a high-performance team culture.
You will need to have a deep understanding of Financial Planning gained from a successful career within either Paraplanning or Financial Planning along with a proven background in successfully leading Paraplanning teams.
The essentials you will need…
7. A minimum of 5 years’ experience within the financial planning industry.
8. Experience of managing a Paraplanning function or team.
9. CII Level 4 qualified as a minimum, Chartered status preferred.
10. Strong technical knowledge of financial planning / paraplanning
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A passion for knowledge sharing and a commitment to professional development.
12. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
