Job Title:Manufacturing Operator Contract:Temporary to Permanent Location:Letchworth Training Hours:7:00am 3:30pm (MondayFriday, with 30-min break) for approx. 1 month Future Shift:10:00pm 6:30am (night shift, with night premium £2.88 per hour) Role Overview We are seeking a dependable Sealed Quench Operator to join a production team. The successful candidate will initially train on day shifts before moving to permanent night shifts with a premium rate. What is a Quench machine - These are specialised machines used in manufacturing to heat-treat metal parts for example, hardening steel components for automotive, aerospace, or engineering industries. Key Responsibilities once trained Operate sealed quench machinery safely and efficiently. Carry out production operator duties within the Sealed Quench Department. Maintain quality standards and follow operating procedures. Always Work safely, reporting any issues to supervisors. Contribute to a clean, organised, and efficient working environment. Requirements Previous production/manufacturing experience is an advantage. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
