Trust Strategic Inclusion Lead
Permanent, Part-time - 13 hours per week over 2 days per week. Salary: Leadership 10-14: £64,691-£71,330 per annum pro-rata. Actual Salary: £25,876-£28,532 per annum. Location: Trust Offices at Rugeley John Taylor School; required to travel to schools across the Trust. Position available from 01.09.26. Previous applicants need not re-apply. John Taylor Multi Academy Trust (JTMAT) is committed to improving lives through education. We seek an experienced professional to provide strategic leadership of our inclusion provision across the Trust. The successful applicant will be a dedicated advocate for children with SEND, able to work at scale and deploy staff effectively. Working closely with Trust senior leaders and Headteachers, you will ensure our provision is legally compliant, lead policy implementation and best practice, and build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Your role will optimise the learning environment and funding available across the schools, requiring drive, diplomacy, tenacity and in-depth knowledge of regulations and statutory guidance.
The successful candidate will:
* Be a qualified teacher with at least 3 years of managing and advising on SEND provision within a primary or secondary school
* Have knowledge of the Ofsted framework and an understanding of inclusion
* Understand "Every Child Achieving and Thriving (2026)" and have the capacity and experience to implement new changes
* Have the interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships at all levels
* Be proficient in understanding, interpreting and implementing legislation and statutory guidance
* Have experience of devising and delivering training to groups of staff
