This is a high-impact, data-driven role where you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day category performance, freeing up senior leadership to focus on long-term strategy. If you enjoy diving into the detail, spotting trends, and turning data into meaningful insight, this is your chance to make a real difference in a business that truly values category.
The role:
* Own and deliver regular category and performance reporting across multiple channels
* Analyse data from sources such as Nielsen and retailer CAD to identify trends and opportunities
* Monitor competitor activity and provide actionable insights to the wider business.
* Support the development of category strategies through robust data analysis.
* Bring clarity to a complex and fast-moving category with growing SKU ranges and touchpoints
* Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure category insights drive commercial decisions
* Build relationships and work with customers across the likes of convenience and high - street channels
You’ll be / have:
* Experience in a category, insights or data-focused role (FMCG or agency side welcome)
* Highly numerate with strong Excel skills and a passion for working with data
* Naturally curious - someone who enjoys digging into the “why” behind the number.
* Comfortable working in a structured, routine-driven environment
* A detail-oriented individual who takes pride in accuracy and insight quality
