Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per annum + benefits
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am–4:30pm | Friday 8am–1pm
We are seeking an organised and commercially aware Sales Order Processor to join a well-established SME manufacturing organisation based in Warwick. This permanent, office-based role is responsible for the accurate processing of sales orders from receipt through to production, ensuring customer requirements and supplier lead times are effectively managed.
Operating within a fast-paced environment, this is a key role within the Operations Department, supporting production planning, stock control, and customer communication. This position requires excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to adapt to changing commercial demands.
Key Responsibilities Of The Sales Order Processor
Process sales orders accurately and efficiently from receipt through to production
Schedule orders in line with supplier lead times and customer delivery requirements
Manage and maintain the production schedule to reflect changing commercial priorities
Create and maintain system part numbers and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Maintain supplier pricing information and update ERP systems (Navision preferred)
Monitor and maintain stock levels, including parts and sub-assemblies
Communicate proactively with customers regarding order progress or delays
Update and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and production planning records
Support the Operations Manager with general administrative and planning duties
The Ideal Sales Order Processor
Previous experience within manufacturing, building, or construction industries
Experience working with ERP systems (Navision preferred)
Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office packages
Fluent English (second language desirable)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Commercially aware with the ability to understand production and supply chain impacts
Adaptable, flexible, and capable of managing and prioritising workload independently
