About the Role We are looking for a qualified and experienced Independent Prescriber to join our team and deliver high-quality, person-centred clinical care. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and prescribing appropriate treatment to meet the needs of service users, ensuring care is safe, effective, and evidence based. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in supporting individuals to improve their health and wellbeing, managing clinical risk, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to the overall delivery of the service. Key Duties Carry out clinical assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans for service users. Prescribe medication safely and effectively within your scope of practice. Monitor service users’ progress and review treatment as required. Manage clinical risk and respond appropriately to safeguarding and health concerns. Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical records. Work collaboratively with colleagues, partner agencies, and other professionals to ensure joined-up care. Provide advice, guidance, and support to service users in relation to their health and treatment. Contribute to service development and the continuous improvement of clinical practice. Ensure all work is carried out in line with professional standards, policies, and relevant legislation. About You You will be a qualified Independent Prescriber with a current professional registration and a strong understanding of safe prescribing practice. You will have experience of working in a clinical setting, with the ability to assess needs, make sound clinical decisions, and manage risk effectively. You will be organised, compassionate, and able to build positive working relationships with service users, colleagues, and partner organisations.
