This is a rewarding opportunity to join a specialist secondary school in North Manchester that supports students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Your New Job
As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will teach general science, with the opportunity to focus on your subject specialism, and will play a key role in helping students re-engage with learning and develop confidence in their abilities. Your responsibilities will include:
* Planning and delivering high-quality science lessons tailored to individual needs
* Creating a supportive and stimulating classroom environment
* Supporting students with SEMH needs to access the curriculum
* Working closely with teaching assistants and pastoral staff
* Contributing to the wider school community and ethos
What You'll Need to Succeed
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching Science at secondary level
* A strong understanding of SEMH needs and inclusive teaching strategies
* Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
* A calm, resilient, and flexible approach
