We are seeking a passionate and skilled Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a flair for creativity and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering a range of hair services, including cutting, colouring, and styling, while also engaging with clients to understand their needs and preferences. Your role will also involve mentoring junior staff and contributing to the overall management of the salon.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality hair services including cutting, colouring, and styling to meet client expectations.
* Engage with clients to offer personalised consultations and recommend suitable hair treatments.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area in compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Assist with front desk duties such as scheduling appointments and managing client records.
* Upsell additional services and products to enhance customer experience and salon revenue.
* Mentor junior stylists, sharing knowledge and techniques to foster their professional growth.
* Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and products to provide clients with current styles.
* Perform additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application when required.
Experience
* Proven experience as a Hair Stylist in a salon environment is essential.
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
* Experience in store management is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Proficiency in barbering techniques is a plus.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
