As a Team Leader, you will work as a Retail Assistant and receive a £2 per hour supplement for managing shifts.

Key responsibilities include:

* Have a clear focus on delivering great availability for your customers.
* Play an active role in your store to “sell a £1 & save a £1” to help drive sales.
* Deliver on all agreed actions set by your line manager.
* Proactively support and work with the Talking Shop Rep in your store.
* Contribute to creating an inclusive culture where everyone can excel.
* Support personal development and share knowledge to upskill the team.

Doing the right processes and doing them right:

* Complete actions set by your line manager based on daily floor walks, focusing on customer experience.
* Maintain a positive service approach in-store and at the doorstep, aiming to be the best place to shop.
* Follow and implement all cash handling and security policies and processes.
* Contribute to providing the best digital service by implementing all “One Best Way” processes.

Leadership:

Your leadership should focus on:

* Being approachable to love your customers.
* Respecting and caring for your team.
* Working enthusiastically as a team.
* Taking action to reduce waste.
* Being considerate towards the business and colleagues.

Required skills & experience:

* Retail management or supervisory experience is preferred but not essential.
* Effective communication to ensure store tasks are completed first time, every time.
* Ability to plan and organize shifts utilizing all team members.
* Providing constructive feedback to improve team performance.
* Leading by example to deliver a great store experience.
