We are pleased to be recruiting for a committed and enthusiastic Design and Technology (DT) Teacher to join the team at a well-regarded secondary school in Milton Keynes. This is a part-time (0.5 FTE), permanent position to begin in September 2025. This opportunity is ideal for a qualified DT teacher with a passion for inspiring creativity, innovation, and technical skill in students. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons across a range of key stages, fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages students to thrive. The successful candidate will bring strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom practice, and a collaborative approach to teaching. You will work alongside a friendly and dedicated team, contributing to the ongoing development of the Design and Technology curriculum and wider school life. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging, practical, and well-structured DT lessons that support student progress and enjoyment. Plan and prepare lessons in line with curriculum requirements, adapting to the varying needs of learners. Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback. Create a positive classroom atmosphere where all students feel valued, supported, and challenged. Work collaboratively with colleagues within the department and across the school.
