You will: Lead and manage EC&I engineering teams delivering high‑integrity and complex control systems for major projects involving mechanical handling machinery, process systems, and heavy engineering plant systems in highly regulated environments such as Energy, Research & Defence. Oversee full lifecycle delivery from front‑end engineering through detailed design, manufacture, and client handover. Take on line management responsibilities, mentoring engineers and ensuring compliance with company standards.Key Responsibilities of Principal Electrical Design Engineer Lead EC&I design teams across multiple projects, ensuring technical compliance and delivery within budget and schedule. Design safety‑critical control systems including power distribution, PLC/DCS systems, SCADA‑based systems, and process instrumentation. Oversee conceptual design studies, calculations, and substantiation documentation for mechanical handling machinery, process systems, and heavy engineering plant systems.
