We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Assistant Cook to support our catering service at The Adelaide Resource Centre, providing three daily meals for up to 25 residents — including weekends. What You’ll Do Prepare and cook meals, including special dietary options Support menu planning and maintain food stock levels Ensure kitchen hygiene and compliance with food safety regulations Record temperatures and assist with risk assessments Deputise for the Cook in Charge during absences Attend Health & Safety training and participate in fire drills What You’ll Bring Experience working in a professional kitchen Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification Knowledge of dietary needs and allergen safety Strong communication and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic IT skills and record-keeping ability This is your chance to join a service where compassion, dignity, and respect are at the heart of everything we do.
