SMART Repair / Service Advisor

Here at Griffin Mill, we are looking for a professional and customer-focused SMART Repair / Service Advisor to join our Pontypridd based team.
This role is key to ensuring customers receive an excellent experience when booking in, approving, and collecting their vehicle after having Bodyshop or SMART repairs. You will act as the vital link between the customer, technicians, and the workshop, ensuring a smooth process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
2. Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner, providing the highest level of customer service.
3. Accurately book in vehicles for Bodyshop, paintwork, SMART repair, or mechanical service work.
4. Provide clear explanations of work required, repair timescales, and associated costs.
5. Prepare and raise repair job cards, estimates, and invoices.
6. Liaise with technicians, paint specialists, and workshop staff to monitor job progress.
7. Keep customers updated on repair status, managing expectations and arranging courtesy vehicles if required.
8. Handle customer queries, concerns, and complaints professionally, escalating where appropriate.
9. Process payments and ensure all administrative duties are completed in line with company and manufacturer standards.
10. Maintain accurate records and adhere to compliance, health and safety, and quality standards.
11. Proactively upsell additional products and services where appropriate.
Skills and Experience Required:
12. Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Bodyshop Advisor, or in a customer service role within the motor trade would be beneficial to this position.
13. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
14. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
15. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
16. Confident IT skills (DMS/CRM systems, Microsoft Office).
17. Full UK driving licence (preferred).
