Due to retirement, an exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced and committed individual to fulfill a key role in the continued growth and profitability of our company.
The principal function will be to account manage the growth of profitable chemical and related sales through developing further relationships and revenue streams of chemical and janitorial products within the existing customer base, as well as identifying and developing new business opportunities.
The ideal candidate is a motivated, well-organized individual who has a deep understanding of prospecting and developing strong relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Retaining our existing customer base and expanding the range of products sold to them.
2. Seeking out and obtaining new customers for the company's products and services and building strong, positive, and profitable long-term relationships with these customers.
3. Determining products necessary to profitably meet the needs of customers and deliver continuing business growth.
4. Provision of technical advice and support to customers, including staff training and chemical monitoring.
5. In conjunction with the Sales Director, identify and develop opportunities for further profitable growth.
6. In conjunction with administrative staff, ensure the administrative, supporting, financial, and reporting requirements of the company are met.
7. Liaison with other company staff to share knowledge and opportunities for the overall benefit of the company.
8. Continuing to align business processes so that similar activities are done in a consistent manner across the company.
9. Assist the Directors in meeting the ongoing needs of the company and other matters that may arise from time to time.
About You
* Excellent knowledge of food factory hygiene processes and chemicals, including BRCGS and similar requirements, to enable authoritative support and advice to our customers.
* Good knowledge of COSHH and associated chemical safety requirements.
* Ability to deliver profitable sales growth through strong customer relationships with a high degree of self-motivation and drive.
