We are super proud to be partnering with a leading tech consultancy who, are on the hunt for a Data Operations Business Analyst to join a team delivering a large-scale data platform that's used by data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders alike.
If you're someone who loves getting hands-on with data, investigating issues, asking questions, and turning findings into clear actions, this could be a great fit.
What you'll be doing
✨ Investigating production data to identify issues, anomalies, and trends
✨ Using SQL and PySpark to explore data, validate assumptions, and uncover root causes ✨ Supporting data scientists and engineers with queries, investigations, and data related challenges
✨ Gathering requirements through stakeholder engagement and workshops
✨ Translating business needs into epics, stories, and deliverable outcomes
✨ Helping shape priorities while balancing user needs, security, and governance requirements
✨ Supporting and improving data governance across the platform
What we're looking for
✔ Experience working as a Business Analyst in a data focused environment
✔ Strong SQL skills and confidence working directly with production data
✔ Exposure to PySpark or large scale data platforms
✔ Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
✔ Experience working within regulated or highly governed environments
✔ Someone who enjoys problem solving, digging into detail, and making sense of complex data challenges
