Warehouse Inspection Operative Are you detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality? Our client, a reputable company in Abingdon, is looking for a Warehouse Inspection Operative to join their team. What you'll be doing: * Manage the Final Inspection process under the guidance of the team leader * Check goods coming from the paint line, ensuring they meet quality standards * Liaise with the paint team to resolve any issues that arise * Verify work orders against SAP, ensuring correct units are dispatched * Check quantities of parts and units being shipped to customers * Use the MES system to add serial plates and labels to finished goods * Raise delivery notes and export paperwork for deliveries * Assist in picking and packing in the warehouse as needed * Support other tasks as requested by the Operations Manager or Managing Director, ensuring smooth workflow and compliance with company policies * Follow health and safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe working environment What you'll bring: * Strong attention to detail and quality standards * Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members * Ability to follow procedures accurately and work efficiently * Flexibility to assist with warehouse tasks when required * Awareness of health and safety practices in a warehouse setting Essential skills and qualifications: * Experience with inspection or quality control processes * Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems * Ability to operate MES systems and handle labels and serial plates * Knowledge of health and safety regulations in warehousing Desired skills: * Previous warehouse or logistics experience * Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing priorities Education & Certifications: * No specific formal education required, but a good understanding of warehouse operations is beneficial * Health & Safety certifications are advantageous Salary offered is c£31k, monthly bonus, pension, Bupa healthcare, all PPE supplied.
