Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Sales / Telesales Executive to join our commercial team. In this role, you may be the first point of contact for many of our customers, supporting the sales process through outbound calls, lead qualification, and customer relationship building. You will help drive the adoption of Viridian Solar's innovative roof-integrated solar PV across the residential and commercial markets. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career in renewable energy sales, with training and progression opportunities available.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct outbound telesales calls to installers, distributors, and prospective customers to promote Viridian Solar's products.
* Qualify leads, build a pipeline, and book appointments for senior sales managers.
* Respond to inbound enquiries via phone and email, providing basic product information and directing queries as appropriate.
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity in the CRM system.
* Support the wider sales team with follow-ups, quotations, and documentation.
* Assist in customer retention activities by conducting check-in calls and gathering feedback.
* Keep up to date with Viridian Solar's products, services, and industry developments.
Qualifications & Skills
* Previous telesales, customer service, or inside sales experience (preferred but not essential).
* Excellent communication skills – clear, professional, and confident on the phone.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to work to targets and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and eager to learn about renewable energy and solar technologies.
* IT literate with experience using CRM systems (training provided)
