Meikleour Estate, an historic country estate North of Perth, is recruiting for a Senior Receptionist Company job title: Hotel Duty Manager) for its award-winning boutique hotel and restaurant, The Meikleour Arms. Combining customer experience management and office position, the Senior Receptionist will assist our management team and is a key role in the customer experience journey.
Your main responsibilities will be:
* Checking customers in and out of the hotel and ensuring guests have an excellent experience throughout their stay
* Managing hotel bookings (phone, online and OTA) and restaurant reservation queries
* Scheduling housekeeping duties
* Reporting any maintenance issues
* Resolving customer issues in a professional manner to ensure customer satisfaction, retention and return
* Daily financial reconciliation for the head office, cashing-up and hotel guest billing and invoicing.
Hours of Work
You will be expected to work some morning and evening shifts
Morning shift: 7:00 am- 3 pm
Evening shift: 2:30 pm – 10:30 pm
We are looking for a full-time candidate, and the work week will be a 40-hour week.
Requirements:
* Excellent written and spoken communication with a naturally welcoming and helpful nature.
* Excellent interpersonal skills combined with constructive resolution process competencies
* Excellent office administration skills, you must be experienced with Excel, Word and hotel reservation booking systems.
* You must have an eye for details and comfortable with numbers
* Previous experience in Hotel booking management is necessary, and ideally some experience in a restaurant (rosette level environment)
* You must be allowed to work in the UK
Package
40 hours / week. £32,240 per year salary. Overtime at £17.37 (including holiday pay on overtime). HMRC compliant tronc tips estimated at £3,000 per year. 5.6 weeks annual leave.
