We’re seeking an apprentice eager to learn, build bookkeeping skills, and thrive in a supportive team. Organised, enthusiastic team players with a passion for bookkeeping and client service are encouraged to apply. Gain hands‑on experience while studying for your AAT qualification.
As an Apprentice Bookkeeper & Client Service Representative, your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting with client accounts, including recording financial transactions, processing payments, and reconciling transactions under the supervision of experienced team members.
* Learning and applying bookkeeping principles, helping to manage client financial records, and working with accounting software.
* Supporting clients with bookkeeping‑related inquiries, including invoicing, expenses, and financial reports.
* Delivering excellent customer service, answering client calls, and assisting with their general inquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
* Onboarding new clients, conducting Anti‑Money Laundering (AML) checks, sending proposals, and maintaining accurate client records.
* Organising financial documentation, including scanning, filing, and maintaining accurate, up‑to‑date records.
* Supporting regular fee reviews and assisting with maintaining client AML checks and proposals.
* Studying for the AAT qualification and applying your learning to real‑world bookkeeping tasks.
* Assisting with ad‑hoc tasks such as tax queries and general office duties, as required.
* Collaborating with the team, sharing knowledge, assisting colleagues, and working together to meet client needs and team goals.
Entry requirements
HRUC will only consider those applicants that have already achieved GCSE at Grade 9-4/A-C Including Maths and English or the equivalent.

Training to be provided
Apprentices will be required to attend college at least x1 day per week either at Uxbridge, Harrow or Hayes Campus completing necessary mandatory training and units associated with the apprenticeship.
The apprentice will be required to complete:
* Work towards gaining a full Qualification.
* Employment Rights and Responsibilities.
* Skills, Knowledge, and Behaviours.
* Standard and End Point Assessment.
* Functional Skills in English, Maths, and ICT (if required).
Other training will be provided by the employer as required to enable the fulfilment of the job role.
