About the role
Are you looking to support a specific child with SEND on a 1:1 basis?
You will provide targeted support to a pupil with SEND including Autism Spectrum Condition, ADHD, sensory and/or speech and language needs, helping them access learning and engage in school life. You’ll work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to tailor strategies to the pupil’s EHCP.

Requirements
1. Experience supporting children with SEND, particularly autism.
2. Desirable to hold at least a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
3. Positive and proactive approach in supporting students with SEND needs.
4. Understanding of sensory strategies and adapting learning towards need.

Salary
£450 to £550 per week
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
5. Have relevant experience of working with children, young people or vulnerable adults.
6. Desirable to hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification as a minimum.
7. Essential to have prior experience working within a school, either as a Teaching Assistant or support staff within a classroom environment.
