Title: Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Facilities)
Location: HMP Stocken, Rutland
Salary: £28,792 – £31,792 + 15% weekend allowance
Hours: Full‑time, 39 hours per week
Prison Security Clearance will be required (Amey will support you through this process).
What You Will Do
* General building maintenance and minor repairs across site
* Supporting fire safety systems (extinguishers, fire doors, alarms)
* Emergency lighting checks and testing
* Water safety tasks (temperature checks, flushing)
* Basic testing (e.g. RCDs, misting units)
* Assisting with security systems such as CCTV and alarms
* Managing jobs and updates through CAFM systems
What You Will Bring
* Experience in general building maintenance or facilities management
* Skills across areas such as fire safety, doors, alarms, lighting or water systems
* Basic IT skills (for job logging and systems)
* A practical, proactive approach with strong attention to safety
