Purpose of the job
To support the commercial success of Garmins direct-to-consumer eCommerce channel by executing and optimising initiatives that drive sales, increase profitability, and expand our customer base.
This role plays a key part in developing and managing B2B partnerships that add commercial value to Garmin.com, while delivering marketing campaigns that reach beyond our traditional audience.
A core part of the role involves supporting our SEO strategy and execution, ensuring our Garmin.com content is optimised to drive organic traffic, improve visibility, and contribute to long-term growth.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, the eCommerce Specialist will help deliver an engaging online experience, monitor site performance, and contribute to the achievement of sales and margin targets through data-driven planning and continuous improvement.
Key duties and responsibilities
Development and ownership of the eCommerce B2B/Garmin Health trading calendar to utilise the best of local marketing and key calendar events, ensuring brand consistency, compliance, and quality always. Youll be responsible for ensuring onsite merchandising on both our Partner and Garmin landing pages is best in class.
Manage partner relationships including key B2B/Garmin Health revenue channels where required ensuring return on investment is maximised.
Effectively negotiate marketing activities to support our B2B/Garmin Health Sales strategy, ensuring the customer journey is optimised for conversion.
Support the Head of eCommerce with conversion strategies to achieve overall .COM sales and profit targets.
Fully own analysis and reporting on relevant KPIs to key stakeholders to drive decision making across the eCommerce team
Conduct weekly market analysis using tools such as Price Shape, while sharing actionable and constructive feedback directly to the Head of eCommerce.
Analyse inventory availability online, while working with the Head of eCommerce to ensure forecasting accuracy
Responsibility for the online presence on Garmin.com, maximising engagement and product revenues including accurate demand product forecasting.
Collaborating with marketing, logistics, and other departments to ensure smooth e-commerce operations, promotional campaigns, and cohesive customer experiences.
Support and work alongside eCommerce & Paid Search Managers, to identify and optimise our SEO and Paid Search strategies.
Assist in uploading and optimising website content with appropriate meta titles, descriptions, alt text, and internal linking.
Support with Prelaunch and live QA checks for all forthcoming product and campaign launches.
Conduct basic keyword research to support blog and product page optimisation, using tools like Google Keyword Planner
Help maintain the SEO content calendar by tracking deadlines, assets, and publishing status.
Perform competitor research and summarise findings on organic rankings, keyword usage, and on-site content.
Collect and organise monthly performance metrics (e.g. organic traffic, keyword rankings) into simple reports for team review.
Stay informed about basic SEO trends and share any new learnings or resources with the team during regular catchups.
Track, report, and analyse current business reporting tools plus website analytics, initiatives, and campaigns across Garmin.com.
Ensure engagement and performance levels are maximised.
Work cross functionally with key internal stakeholder groups as defined by the Head of eCommerce.
Identify and utilise new tools and technology to support ongoing digital initiatives.
Ensure website content, policies and technology comply with laws and regulations e.g. Trading Standards, GDPR, Distance Selling Act, Equality Act, Competition law.
Ensure personal and team compliance with Code of Conduct, Web Governance, Bribery Act, Competition Law, GDPR and other company policies.
Education & Experience
Commercial mindset with the ability to interpret and work towards achieving ROI and revenue targets.
Industry experience in a similar role
Entrepreneurial identifies business opportunities and delivers them with limited resources.
Proven ability to effectively build and manage external relationships.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with strong attention to detail, and comfortable communicating and presenting to internal and external teams.
