Office Administrator – Archangel Lightworks

Archangel Lightworks is a connectivity company building wireless technology to create space‑enabled networks of the future. The role supports our Operations team in delivering transformative laser communications technology.


Responsibilities


Office Management

* Assist the Office Manager to maintain the smooth running of the office facilities
* Manage company enquiries by phone and email
* Maintain filing systems
* Provide procurement support
* Provide general support to create a safe, enjoyable and productive office environment


Recruitment Support

* Manage candidates through the recruitment process using our Applicant Tracking System
* Conduct recruitment screening of candidates
* Support the onboarding of new candidates


Travel and Events

* Arrange business travel logistics


Requirements

* Proven experience in office administration, administrative assistant, or similar role
* Strong organisational and time‑management skills with the ability to multitask
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Professional telephone manner
* Qualified first aider – training can be provided if necessary
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
* Experience in a start‑up environment
* Experience coordinating meetings, travel, or events
* Knowledge of health & safety or office compliance procedures


Location

Our office is based in Osney Mead, Oxford.
