The role is responsible for ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective operations across production, warehousing, and logistics functions, while driving continuous improvement and supporting business objectives. This role is a very hands on, proactive position that operates within a fast-paced manufacturing operational environment. Day to day duties and responsibilities:. Lead and manage operational activities to ensure service, quality, cost, and delivery targets are achieved.. Oversee production, warehousing, and logistics functions, ensuring effective coordination and performance.. Develop and implement operational plans aligned with business strategy and customer demand.. Monitor operational KPIs, analysing performance and implementing corrective actions where required.. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost control.. Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and environmental standards across all operations.. Lead, motivate, and develop operational teams, promoting a culture of accountability and high performance.. Manage resource planning, capacity, and workflow to meet operational requirements.. Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.. Work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to support business growth and improvement initiatives. Skills and experience required:. Proven experience in an Operations Manager or senior operational l eadership role within a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment..
