The role
Catering Assistant Start Date: 1st September 2026 Salary: £13.52 - £13.74 per hour Salary Grade: NJC Grade 3 (Points 4-5) Contract Term: Permanent Contract Type: 1 x 20 Hours per week (Term Time Only) Daily 10.00am – 2.30pm including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Lymm High School is a large, high performing secondary school with exceptional resources including a swimming pool, leisure complex and a residential centre in Anglesey. We are looking to recruit a Catering Assistant to work in a busy kitchen. The successful candidate will have to be able to work under pressure and have a flexible approach to work/hours. You will carry out normal kitchen duties as part of a large team. Please note that in addition to this permanent position there may also be an additional Catering Assistant vacancy available on a casual contract. Individuals should have a caring and common-sense attitude towards children.
