Salary: £13.21 per hour
£300 Joining bonus
Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Service: Essential Care and Support Limited
We are currently looking for a Team Leader to join our team at Essential Care and Support Limited - Abbeyvale, based in Hartlepool. Essential Care and Support is part of the National Care Group and is dedicated to providing person-centred care across supported living, outreach, and day services. We support individuals with a range of needs including Mental Health, Dementia, Physical Disabilities, and Elderly care. If you want to make a difference every day, then this may be the job for you.

The Team Leader Role
As a Team Leader, you will promote and ensure the implementation of the company’s vision of person-centred support while maintaining individual potential and independence. You will be the front-line manager, ensuring all back-office duties are completed in compliance. You will work cooperatively with others to enable individuals to live in their own homes or within their communities with dignity and confidence.
Responsibilities include:
* Overall staff management and development.
* Leading staff in promoting clients’ well-being, safety, and quality of life.
* Monitoring and assisting with activities that address client goals and measure progress.
* Coordinating communication with external parties within your area.
* Ensuring compliance with company policies, legislation, and standards.
* Meeting individual annual objectives.
* Participating in on-call duties.
Desired Qualities
Respectful, empathetic, kind, friendly, and honest. Ability to listen and understand needs and emotions.
Ideal Candidate
* Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities.
* Minimum Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care or working towards it.
* Ability to motivate and manage a team.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
