Solutions Developer
The Solutions Developer is responsible for the technical design, documentation, software development, implementation, maintenance, technical support, and problem resolution for all in-house developments and integration/interoperability services at PAHT.
This role requires an exceptionally high level of technical expertise. The post holder must be capable of analyzing and solving highly complex technical problems independently, providing guidance and sharing knowledge with other developers.
The post holder will lead the development of software components for various applications, ensuring they are rigorously tested and built according to industry best practices. They will also ensure seamless integration with other Trust and partner systems and maintain ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities
1. Estimate resources, time, and skills required for development tasks.
2. Track progress by recording effort against tasks daily using a suitable Application Lifecycle Development Tool.
3. Collaborate with team members to complete development phases.
4. Develop test plans and data to validate code during unit testing.
5. Assist in maintaining existing systems, such as the integration engine.
6. Stay updated with technical skills through training and seminars.
7. Resolve problems to the satisfaction of the Design and Development Manager.
8. Prepare comprehensive technical documentation for software applications.
9. Demonstrate proficient keyboard and mouse skills to develop software using an integrated development environment.
