(Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm
Wednesday 8.30am to 5.30pm)
Term Time Only Plus 3 Days
Scale 5 (Points 12 – 17)
Actual Annual Salary: £22,618 to £24,535

We are looking for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to join the team at Trinity Academy Akroydon.
In this role you will work collaboratively with teaching staff and other support staff to enhance the development and education of students. This will involve undertaking class supervision for whole classes, delivering prepared work from the agreed schemes of work, under guidance and support of the classroom teacher. We are particularly interested in meeting candidates with a passion and enthusiasm to take a leading role in our award-winning eco-initiatives.

What we need from you?
* 5 or more GCSE’s (or equivalent) at C or better, including English and Maths.
* Experience of teaching (or other relevant learning environments), covering groups or whole classes.
* Awareness and commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* Experience of basic technology, PC, internet, MS Office packages.
We are an ambitious and growing Trust which has eleven schools in total: six secondary schools, four primary schools and a post-16 college, spanning five local authorities. This is an opportunity to join a high-impact leadership team, and experience cross-Trust working with members of staff from each of our academies and central support teams
