Job Title: Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Cambridge
Type: Full time, Permanent
Working hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm (on call: 1 week in 3)
Salary: GBP46,000 per annum
Benefits: pension plan, 28 days holidays increasing to 33 with service
Responsibilities
* Maintenance of all equipment including rice milling and packing equipment
* Conduct preventative maintenance, reactive service and repair work
* Diagnose and resolve issues and update documentation
* Undertake planned maintenance as directed by the engineering manager or team leader
* Carry out site maintenance
* Fabricate spare parts for equipment using lathe, mill and welding activities
* Work with the Operations Teams to offer engineering expertise in the design and delivery of improvements
* Correctly fault find on electrical control and power systems
* Perform repairs on pneumatics, motors, pumps, conveyors
Requirements
* Engineering qualification (Level 3 or equivalent): ideally both electrical and mechanical
* Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematic drawings
* Experience in a manufacturing/maintenance environment
