Join our Team: Apprentice Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Ballymoney
Reporting to: Business Improvement Manager
Hours of work: 39 hours per week
Join our team at Terex and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated Apprentice Manufacturing Engineer to contribute to the Ballymoney team.

Reporting to the Business Improvement Manager the successful candidate will quickly progress to play a key role in the Design of current and new product processes.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Work with the engineering team to create solutions to a variety of issues
2. Use latest 3D software to produce designs and drawings for solutions
3. Work with other functional departments such as Manufacturing, Production, Quality and Service to improve machine build and service life
4. To resolve problems at the root cause quickly and effectively and assist in managing engineering change processes relating to screens
5. Assist in producing full manufacturing drawings and engineering bill of materials
6. Improve manufacturing process through improved design and consultation with the production department, purchasing and suppliers
7. Follow Group standards in the areas of QFD, FMEA, design-for-manufacture, prototype development and field testing
8. Develop Jigs and Fixtures to promote continuous improvement
9. Follow Group engineering standards and associated IT systems
Ideally Candidates will be:
10. Due to graduate or have recently graduated with a minimum 2:2 degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent, or be enrolled in a Degree Apprenticeship Engineering course
11. IT literate
12. A self starting approach to work
13. A desire for putting theoretical knowledge to practical use
14. Goal and results orientated
15. Previous exposure to AutoCAD, 3D modelling, advanced excel skills, will be beneficial but not essential.
