We are Bygone Times, the UK's largest antiques and collectables center with over 500 stalls across six floors, including our successful café. We are 85,000 sq. ft of unique shopping which is open 7 days a week from 09:30 am – 5:00 pm and sit in the village of Eccleston, Chorley and have been open to the public for over 35 years. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Part time Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. Our ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and will act as a first point of contact for both visitors and stallholders alike.
Hours: 7.5 hours per week over 1 day (every Sunday)
Duties
* Deliver exceptional customer service to all
* Accurately input sales according to the sales procedure
* Package customer items appropriately
* Assist customer enquiries with guidance from your line manager
* Provide assistance to stall holders and create sales reports on request
* Carry out day to day cleaning duties of sales area, including but not limited to returning items to the correct location
* Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Competent using computer systems and email, with training provided
* Use of initiative and solution based
* Great time management
* A team player
* Available when required to be flexible in shift patterns in the event of sickness/holiday cover or when the company deems necessary
Requirements
* GCSE Maths & English
* Previous experience in a customer service role is preferrable but not essential
