Registered Manager
We are looking for a Registered Nurse Manager to join our friendly Service in the Denbigh area.

What you’ll be doing:
7. The people we support are adults who have enduring mental health needs with co-occurring physical health needs.
8. Managing a team of staff and carrying out supervisions, appraisals, team meetings and ensuring that training needs are identified and maintained, alongside observations and competency assessments related to personal/ professional development of our staff.
9. Be part of an on-call system.
10. A high standard of commitment to person-centred care planning and risk assessment.
11. Knowledge of RISCA regulations and ensuring the service adheres to these.
12. The daily management of the home, including ensuring the clinical needs of the People we Support are met.
13. Be responsible for overall supervision, monitoring and day-to-day management of other staff, nurses and support workers within the policy/procedure framework of ‘POTENS’.
14. Be responsible for care planning, monitoring, and review arrangements.
15. Monitoring the administration of medication. Responsibility for maintaining the necessary records and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the systems for administering medicines.
16. Help to maintain the standards set for the appearance and upkeep of the premises, indoors and outdoors.
17. Participate in staff meetings, staff supervision, training, and development activities.
18. Responsible for the coordination, supervision, and monitoring of all employees’ performance, culture and well-being within the Service.
19. To ensure that all operational policies and procedures are in place and followed by all staff.
Who you are:
20. Able to work independently, multitask, organise, and prioritise work to suit the people we support and the service.
21. Exceptional at building relationships and influencing at all levels, internal and external.
22. Ability to execute and deliver high-quality care, whilst keeping a positive attitude under pressure.
23. Have good awareness of vulnerable adults and young people’s protection issues.
24. Flexibility to cover days, evenings, weekends, and waking nights in the absence of nurse cover, such as sickness, if another nurse cannot be sought.
25. Current nursing PIN - RMN, RNMH, RNLD preferred. Or RGN with relevant experience in mental health is essential
26. Level 5 NVQ Diploma in Management & Leadership (or equivalent such as Registered Manager Award) is essential
