We are recruiting a Primary SEN Teacher for a specialist provision in Durham. This role is ideal for a mainstream teacher who is passionate about inclusion and keen to develop specialist skills in working with children with additional needs. You will teach small groups of pupils who require a highly nurturing and structured environment. Behaviour is viewed as communication, and you will help pupils develop emotional regulation, confidence, and independence. Key responsibilities include: Delivering tailored and creative learning experiences Supporting pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils and families Implementing individual education and behaviour plans Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to support holistic development We are seeking a calm, adaptable, and reflective teacher who can support vulnerable pupils with empathy and consistency.
