An opportunity for a knowledgeable Document Controller to assist with the delivery of a portfolio of New Connection schemes up to 132kV. You will drive excellence in document management, systems use, standardisation, and coordination efforts across a wide spectrum of ongoing construction projects. Must be able to foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
Key Duties
Reporting into the Project Managers, the Document Controller will be responsible for ensuring that all document control duties are looked after in a timely and professional manner.
* Coordinate change review meetings to discuss and review the change requests going forward for approval
* Prepare and submit change log for approval meeting and circulate results to the appropriate teams
* Tracking change requests and change orders ensuring they are not exceeding timelines and maintaining logs for all projects
* Assistance to vendors and contractors in using the client provided Project Management Control System – a third party set of tools and SharePoint folders for example
* Control of those folders to ensure the correct material is uploaded in the correct place
* Assistance to the Project Managers in updating project and equipment delivery schedules
* Transfer of drawings and schedules as required
* Weekly updates and issuing reports
